Raymond is a former General  Manager of the Beltsville MD Ride-Away.  He learned the business and is an industry expert but was trained in the Ride-Away "go the extra mile" for the customer service philosophy. Ray wants to "treat you as family" because he has three connections to the special needs community.  At one point Ray's Mom. Alma, health failed and she was confined to a wheelchair. Ray and his family faced the same uncertainty of how to take care of his mom and get her to doctor's appointments. A family in crisis need timely information to make the right decisions for your loved one. Ray is also a Dad of special needs son who is diagnosed with epilepsy, Autism, ADHD and genetic mutation.  Ray understands how parents feel that they need to obtain the best for their kids but also need to do it effectively on a budget. Obtaining a solution for the whole family and right equipment for your child is always a priority with Ray. Finally, Ray is a stoke survivor.  He understands how a person feels to lose the ability to walk and talk and the struggle to earn back your abilities.  He understands everyone in the mobility community is on a journey and he wants to offer his expertise and knowledge but more importantly his empathy and shared experience of being in your shoes as you travel your path to gain or upgrade your mobility solution.

Raymond has 3 goals for every customer. Ray insists on the "right fit". Secondly, the substance of the deal or main purchase of equipment should pass the "expert test". Finally Ray shoots for satisfaction, after you get the the best product at a good price you are so delighted you become an ally of Jerry's mobility.  The "right fit" is literally the wheelchair fits into the vehicle but also the price fits your budget and the style matches your lifestyle.  If your value customer where every penny counts we have options for you.  If your a premium customer who has to have certain luxury items we can accommodate those needs as well. The "expert test" is where an outside auditor were to examine what you were sold they could confirm that the equipment sold does meet your needs. You have the confidence that the purchase you make is the industry correct one you can make. Finally, with Ray's 10 year experience in the industry, he has made many friends and allies that are so happy their experience that they tell all their friends and neighbors and even strangers for years after the initial purchase.  Ray wants everyone to be so happy they can choose to become a champion of Jerry's in our mobility community.

Raymond is hoping to build a central hub where the mobility community can network, learn and meet other like minded folks.  Building a community where we can help each other and share information would be the ideal outcome.  The exact structure is a work in progress and as it's built Raymond will try to inform and include every one possible to bring people together.

Raymond experience extends to all sectors of mobility community.  There was a veteran customer from the first meeting to driving his vehicle off our lot completed in less than 30 days - including VA approval process time. in most cases the VA process averages 6 months and can be as long as a year.  There were special circumstances for this particular veteran but Ray's approach is to go as fast as the approving institutions will go. Ray can handle the difficult cases.  One client had severe disabilities for being a driver. Essentially, a driver set up like that had never been done in MD.  With creativity with the driver evaluator and service manager and a lot of hard work we were able to enable the driver to drive up and down 95 to drive to his retail job and be a tax paying citizen. Finally, in a tribute to his drive for excellence, Raymond was awarded "rookie of the year" in the largest retailer of mobility equipment in the nation at that time.  Ray likes to work hard for his customers and his peers appreciated his drive and accomplishment.

Raymond has an energetic personality.  Back in the 80's he used to be a DJ.  He liked to play the music people wanted to dance to.  His party were known as dance marathons and everyone had a good time.  Why not try the new guy who is energetic to work for you?  Contact Ray at Jerry's today.
