Toyota Sienna BraunAbility Power In-Floor Wheelchair Van
Featuring a hidden wheelchair ramp system, the BraunAbility® Power In-Floor Toyota Sienna Mobility van is a spacious, low maintenance wheelchair accessible vehicle. Featuring a 54’’ entry height, the Power In-Floor Toyota Sienna handicap wheelchair van can accommodate a wide variety of wheelchairs and scooters. The in-floor ramp design also negates all of the issues presented by a fold-out ramp, like blocking the entry from ambulatory passengers entering and exiting the van. Fully Automatic Sliding Door And Wheelchair Accessible Ramp
The BraunAbility® Power In-Floor Toyota Sienna mobility van features both power entry and ramp, easily operated via the factory key-fob. Each ramp features a reserve power supply in case of vehicle power failure, and can also be operated manually in emergency situations. The Power In-Floor van ramp in constructed of lightweight aluminum and coated in a durable, non-skid finish. There are event slots to prevent debris accumulation within the van. The ramp is 30.25’’ wide and is able to accommodate up to 1000 lbs. A smooth transition plate assists in lowering the traditional elevated joint where the ramp meets the van. This allows for reduced elevation and easier access for the wheelchair.

Automatic Kneeling Feature
All BraunAbility® Power In-Floor Toyota Sienna mobility vehicles feature an automatic suspension “kneeling system” that allows for reduced ramp angles and easier wheelchair or scooter access to the vehicle. As soon as the ramp is deployed, the on-board computer activates an actuator on the rear suspension that acts to lower the ramp side of the van. This allows for an easier entry for the wheelchair user. The Automatic Kneeling Feature can be toggled on or off via a dash mounted switch.
Lowered FloorIn order to improve interior mobility, the floor of each Power In-Floor is lowered up to from behind the engine bay to the rear axle. This allows for a 54’’ door clearance for an easy, unencumbered entry. The lowered floor also provides the wheelchair user and improved line of sight from both the driver and passenger positions.
Removable Seating
Both front seats are removable on the BraunAbility® Power In-Floor Toyota Sienna mobility van. A standard and necessary feature, the removable seats allow the wheelchair users to occupy both the driver and passenger spaces from either their wheelchair or front seat. Both seats are easily unlocked at the base and roll away for simple storage, able to be snapped back in at a moment’s notice.
